Initial steps

  1. Jot down MyWebber's IP
    • You can use WhoIs to get the IP (you can find the IP Address somewhere in the middle of the page)
  2. Login to your domain administration

Follow this section if your hosting has with ability to change A Record within the DNS area

    • Change the A Record (Host @) to point to MyWebber's IP (this may take up to 24 hours)
    • This will only point your exampleWebSite.com to our server
  1. To also point www.exampleWebSite.com you must create the CNames (Aliases)
    • Such as www to point to "@" (if it doesn't exist already)

Follow this section if your hosting only allows you to change nameservers

  1. Go to http://zoneedit.com and create a free account and then add a zone for your domain
  2. Jot down the nameserver(s) that it creates for you
  3. Also add the IP server for your domain to mywebber's IP that you got in the Initial steps
  4. Go back to your domain administration (Initial steps) and change the nameservers to the new ones that you got in this section

Note: It may take up to 24 hours depending on your hosting for the changes to occur and your website to work
